This Designers for Learning webcast was part of our Education Impact Day, a 12-hour webcast-athon held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 featuring 12 featured speakers. This is a recording of our conversation with Camille Dickson-Deane, Educational-Instructional Designer/Lecturer at The University of Melbourne, Australia.

Bio: Dr. Camille Dickson-Deane, a native of Trinidad and Tobago has her PhD in Information Science and Learning Technology and focuses her research interests around the pedagogical usability of online learning environments. As a designer-researcher-evaluator she has published a number of research articles and book chapters discussing research initiatives and the process of designing innovative instructional solutions specifically for the online realm. Her design and development ability is fueled by her research drive to always think about the uniqueness of solutions and why they did or did not work.
