This is a recording of our conversation with Paula Escuadra, Head of Content Partnerships at Collective Shift.

Bio: Paula Escuadra serves as Head of Content Partnerships for Collective Shift, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization striving to redesign systems of learning for the 21st century. She has a vested interest in using game-based learning and connected learning principles to help educators and mentors empower and inspire 21st century youth to become resilient systems thinkers who can save the planet and change the world (ask her about SimCityEDU and Battleground 538 on GlassLab Games!). Paula also works with Genesis Development Collaborative, focused on strategic planning for workforce development for refugees and free VR education focused on the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Paula uses her years of experience from the video game industry to redesign conversations and action around local youth empowerment and global resilience. Paula is a proud dual degree, holding an MBA and MPA in Sustainable Management from Presidio Graduate School and a BA in Cultural Anthropology from University of California, Berkeley. She also serves on Presidio Graduate School’s alumni board.
